Transform Your Habits Become a Better You
“Without language, we find ourselves living in a state of emotional chaos. Our brain has given us the potential to communicate in extraordinary ways and the way we choose to do so can improve the neural functioning of the brain. In fact, a single word has the power to influence the expression of genes that regulate physical and emotional stress. If we do not continually exercise the brain’s language centers, we cripple our neurological ability to deal with the problems we encounter with each other.”- Tony Robbins
Our lives reflect our habits. Our daily habits make our future. It is what we do every day that determines what becomes of us in future. We all came into this world as a human person, yet in need of becoming successful, great, and accomplished. We are all products of habit. Positive habits create positive future and negative habits? Well you guess that…
The good news is we do have control over our habits. Put your habits in check. Focus on your strengths and improve on your weaknesses. Socrates once affirmed: “An unexamined life is not worth living”.
Do not have a submissive attitude towards your habits. Take control of them. Be proactive. Your future will be the outcome of the habits you are sowing into it every day. The way we feel determines the quality of our life. You could have whatever you think life’s dream is—building a billion dollar enterprise or a family that totally loves and adores you—but if every single day you live with the emotions of feeling frustrated, depressed and anger, then the quality of your life is called frustration and anger—it has nothing to do with the economic opportunities you have, much less the love you are surrounded by.
According to Orison Swett Marden, “There is no philosophy or science by which a man can arrive at a success goal when he is facing the other way, when every steps he takes is on the road to failure, when he talks like a failure, acts like a failure, for prosperity begins in the mind and is not possible why the mental attitude is hostile to it. No one can become prosperous while he rarely expects or half-expect to be always poor, for holding to poverty-thought keeps him in touch with poverty producing conditions”. The idea is that the outcome of your future is the reality of your predominantly daily thoughts and habits.
